friday

Warm out. I'm not trusting enough to go sans winter jacket, but this morning it's not needed. Twilight and fog make for pleasant walking.
Buddy's at the Cafe! My morning is made. How have you been since last year?
What's the news? Bush and polygamy.... condo for sale. .. you kayak?
Gene wanders in...my NJ train rider and cafe friend-haven't seen you since you boarded the day before the storm.

Penny and Michael- Dynamic Duo

The Silver Spoon gets fresh vegetables delivered. ...must be one of the reasons their food tastes so delicious.

The dogs are well taken care of. The dog minders obviously love the job

and there is plenty of canine and feline food to keep the dogs and cats well fed at the
Ridgewood Veterinary Hospital

Do the "you can set your watch by us" dog walkers know about the above?

In less than a week, 9 inches of Ridgewood snow and ice are gone.
-walking on pavement again

O yes, real rabbits in rabbit season

and other "ever-around" rabbit

A picture is worth 1000 words. No amount of words could describe the unbelievable experiences of walking, listening and hearing, watching and seeing, smiling and being smiled at, talking and exchanging, breathing, observing the sky, finding a new piece of art, learning from a human, catching a reflection, appreciating beautiful architecture, glimpsing a kindness or noticing a pattern.
A picture can't describe all that either. But it's still worth 1000 words. Since February 21st we've have had the coldest day, the snowiest day, the wettest day, the windiest day, the iciest day, a crazy time change.. all kinds of radical nature events. Every morning is an adventure. The Ridgewood Walker's pictures are taken on the morning walk. Only the pictures of that morning's walk are posted.
