Yesterday evening my cat returned home after spending Sunday night, Monday night and Tuesday night away from home.  We were sleepless for 3 nights.  He's back safe and sound.  Where was he?  He's not talking.
The Prodigal Cat has returned and we are at his service.

I was wondering how the work construction site fared when the river was high yesterday.
The platform in the water floats.  All is secure.

Wet and mild February 27th

Although we had torrential rains last night, it was only raining lightly this morning.
Drops hit my face, but did not feel cold.
Rather, it felt almost like a spring rain.

You can barely make out the tree trimmer- he's perched up in the branches like a big bird.  The branch he was sawing came down with a big crack!

Tuesday morning Connect One bank is the place to come for breakfast!  At 7 AM the Chamber  meeting takes place in a big circle of chairs.  One day I will join them...

February 25th, Monday

Good Monday Morning!  Back from vacation and the cold.  It's 30 degrees at 6 AM, but feels springlike compared to last week.  Ice still forms at the corners. 

 My dear students, we missed you last week, and hope you come back today rejuvenated!
