Day 2

OK. It's not like yesterday. It's much, much darker and raining lightly.
I listen for those birds again, and they are singing, but more softly.
But it is good to be outside.
And this morning I see Mike!
Hi Mike!
Looking at colleges for your daughter? Wow! Good Luck!
My daughter is a freshman at Tulane, and just celebrated Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
It's a good start for them here in Ridgewood.

Yesterday tennis, today lacrosse?
It's in nearly the same spot, across from the HS

Down there is where the recycling is kept .

This season is long gone.
I bet Santa's little house was lodged in the ice and snow, and now it's forgotten

Double YUM

The scarf from yesterday is gone. I hope it was found by the person who lost it.

The river was over the banks earlier this week. Today's rain will bring more flooding, but for now it's tranquil.

A police car had just come careening down the avenue at full tilt.
Watch out for those kids!

Shortly thereafter a firetruck rumbles down the street.

It appears that all is well.
