Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Special greeting to my friend Bill Carey, who I know will be steppin down 5th Ave in his long time tradition, and lifting a pint to celebrate! Enjoy your day!
And to Maureen I B the greatest of blessings on you and your family. I hear Eileen with the fiddle, and her Father-in -Law reciting his Amercan Wake
on this great Irish day of celebration
It's hard to find green in the pitch black
A member of the band!
that we should all be as merry as the Irish!
IRISH EYES
What does it mean?
This I know means Good Luck!
Irish Eyes are glowing
I love green
even neon green...
The Bus Station is too cute
I'm not rattin on this - I love the sign. However, the place is CLOSED.
Ridgewood Running is decked out for the day.
Father Ron said the mass. He's allowed to celebrate and were the white, even though it's Lent on this one day. I don't know if it required a dispensation.
Joan has her shamrocks on. She's making the corned beef tonight, althoug she said McMurphy's makes very good corned beef.

Lift a Pint!
Lift a Pint!
Yum! Soda Bread!
Last night I went to the baord of ed meeting with my husband. We were there at the special request of my daughter to support the art program. It's in danger of having the head of the department slashed in the budget. It would be a blow to an incredible art program that nurtures the kids from K to graduation. The teens and young adults were epecailly eloquent before the board, showing how much the art impacted their lives and their formation. I would love to see the art position remain. It speaks voluumes about our committment to this vital development of our children's abilites and interests.
