Melow Monday March 16

Monday is the hardest day of the week. Usually I wake without the alarm. today is the exception. The time change is still to blame. 35 degrees. It's 44 in NYC- that's a big difference
I go out into the dark. I'm thinking of my mother this March 16th
only a few lights on in the houses- Ridgewood is still snoozing. I usually feel that I'm up one on everyone... today everyone in bed is up one on me...
I meet Mike in the dark
I love his faithful routine
Mine is a 40 day commitment-
year round discipline takes Mike's strength of character

Window shopping

I adore the Beadery. good karma there, and fabulous beads

The other Ridgewood Walker greets me from across the street
Another admirable and committed person.
I need to know her name

The walker sign is out for us

Gardiner
1/2 moon over Mt. Carmel

Only 1name this year in the Book of the Elect. Only one person for the Vigil?

The tree is filled with chirping birds. I can't see them, but I hear them. they are here!

I'm thinking of my Mom

Famous Red Door- as famous as the one on 5th Ave

Never any people in here- only miles of wires. Where have all the people gone? Retired?

Weekend left-over

Interesting how the globes are a different color in this light

Good!

HOPE RIDGEWOOD- yes, let's hope for the best! This will be a difficult day for me, and I am trying to be optimistic. I'm not the only one facing tough choices because of the economy. Again, I'm praying we can all keep paying our mortgages and taxes.
HOPE

Hey kids, don't you know we can get your DNA off this bottle? You're not leaving litter- you're leaving evidence!
HOPE
